My name is Moremi Marwa, the Chief Executive Officer of the Prisons Corporation Sole (PCS), also known in kiswahili as Shirika la Magereza (SHIMA). We are the state-owned entity and a commercial enterprise of the Tanzania Prisons Department. 

Our business portfolio includes commercial agriculture, agrobusiness, livestock farming, making and building of hardwood furniture, textile and shoes making, production and processing of salt and soap, building and construction services as well as provision of security services.

Our projects are located in Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Kagera, Iringa, Mara, Mbeya, Morogoro, Rukwa Ruvuma, and Tabora.

We also provide opportunity for PPP/Joint Venture Arrangements with private sector actors, particularly in our agriculture and agrobusiness located in Morogoro, Iringa and Rukwa. The mechanisms for joint venture agreements and partnerships in business are shared in this platform.
