Ukonga Tailoring

The project is 18km South–West of Dar-es-Salaam city centre. The project is within Ukonga central Prison buildings, as a separate wing. The project designs and makes different types of clothes for customers. The Project makes both staff and prisoners uniforms. The project has an opportunity for expanding its business size through better marketing strategies.

Uyui Timber

The project lies between 3km North–east of Tabora Municipality and 2.5km off the central railway. The project is within Uyui central Prison buildings as a separate wing. The Project makes office and home furniture and other timber works. Currently, the products are sold to the government, private companies and individuals. This enhances the need to explore more markets so as to increase sales.

Arusha Furniture

Located at the Industrial area of Arusha City (Unga Limited) within Arusha City, the project enjoys direct accessibility of road, railway, and air throughout the year. Currently, the market of its products is the government, private companies and individuals within and outside the region. Efforts are made to expand and diversify its sources of markets.

Ruanda Soap

Ruanda soap Project is in Mbeya Region, it is within Ruanda Prison buildings, as a separate wing, it is about 1km East from Mbeya Airport.  The Project deals with production of various types of soaps with different sizes. The main market of the soaps produced is prisons services shops in different regions and other customers around the project location.

Lilungu Salt Mining Works

The Project is located 15km South-east of Mtwara Municipality along offshore of Indian Ocean. Being within offshore the project enjoys direct water catchment area for salt mining. The Project has 265 hectares of the mining area. The problem with this project is the market for its produced salt after its primary customer, which is TPS. Efforts are pursued  to expand  markets from industries which use salt in order to secure such markets and realize the potential for the project.

Ukonga Carpentry

The project is located 18 km west of Dar-es-salaam city centre. The Project is within Ukonga Central Prison buildings; however, it exists as a separate wing. Currently, the market comes from the government, private companies and individuals within and outside the region.

Kingolwira Metal Works

The industry is located 26km from Morogoro Municipality near Mkabarani village. It is 2 km off Dar-es-Salaam - Morogoro highway.

Ukonga metal works and automobile workshop.

The project is located 18 km west of Dar-es-Salaam city centre. The Project is within Ukonga Central Prison buildings, as a separate wing. This project is dealing with the repair and maintenance of cars both from public and private sectors. Also, projects have a wing dealing with the metal works.
